Screen protectors for Smartphones, tablet, and computers have different functions and names. Let’s learn how to say them in Chinese. 

螢幕（yíng mù） means screen, 保護（bǎo hù） is to protect, 貼（tiē）  is sticker or to stick. Therefore, 螢幕保護貼 is translated as screen protector.  There are different kinds of screen protector with different names in Chinese as well. For example, anti-blue light screen protector is 抗藍光螢幕保護貼(kàng lán guāng yíng mù bǎo hù tiē ) Ballistic tempered screen protector or Tempered glass screen protector is 強化玻璃保護貼(qiáng huà bō lí bǎo hù tiē )  And Ultra clear screen protector is 超透光螢幕保護貼(chāo tòu guāng yíng mù bǎo hù tiē ).

Why use screen protector? Well, it depends on your needs and priority. For example, anti-blue light screen protector is for healthy concerns. The screen protector can filter the blue light smartphone emit and protect your eyes. 抗藍光螢幕保護貼可以過濾手機藍光，保護你的眼睛。(kàng lán guāng yíng mù bǎo hù tiē kě yǐ guò lǜ shǒu jī lán guāngbǎo hù nǐ de yǎn jīng )

And we have different surfaces selection for each screen protector. For example, glossy or matte. 亮面或霧面(Liángmiàn huò wùmiàn)

Of course, the tablet screen needs to protect as well. Therefore we have tablet foil平板貼膜(píng bǎn tiē mó ) or tablet screen protector平板電腦螢幕保護貼(píng bǎn diàn nǎo yíng mù bǎo hù tiē ).
